For many, the long nights of Winter are a challenge.

Let’s slow down at the Winter Solstice,
and cherish the sweet darkness:
We can take solace in receiving its nourishing gifts
of healing, power and rebirth.

OPENING NIGHT FEAST

We’ll open with a festive potluck feast on our first night together!

Circle of the Living Earth will provide baked salmon in the spirit of this land, where Salmon is one of the sustaining deities. Participants’ contributions will make for a balanced, nourishing meal, whether you eat Salmon or are vegetarian or vegan.

What would you like to bring?

Whether you’re driving from home, or flying in, we’ll identify an item that you would love to contribute!

CIRCLING IN SACRED COMMUNITY

Over our time together, we’ll gather in sacred circle, in the shamanic tradition. We’ll start getting to know one another the first evening. **No prior shamanic experience is required.

BEFRIENDING THE DARK

Living, as we do, in a culture that tends to fear darkness, and associates it with negative things, we’ll take time to acquaint ourselves with this loving, primordial spirit that can render so much healing and rebirth.

HOW WAS YOUR 2024?

We’ll spend some time closing out 2024, and dreaming into 2025.

What do you want to say goodbye to, and what kind of new year do you want to manifest?

DREAMING THE DARK CELEBRATION

On the Solstice, the longest night of the year, we will celebrate the Dreaming the Dark ritual to bring healing to the group. This powerful ritual has brought healing through to so many people over the decades.

You can read about the very first Dreaming the Dark ritual back in 1995, in this article.

HELLO, 2025!

On our final morning, we’ll do a manifestation ritual to seed and empower our dreams for 2025.

** OPTIONAL

An introductory shamanic journeying lesson will be available at 4pm of our first day, prior to the formal opening of the retreat [complimentary].
